CONNECTION NEWS

2015-16: Year Two in Review

 

Columbia 21st Century Community Learning Center;

  • We provided services for 137 Prekindergarten- 5th grade students for 30 days and more; 

  • We completed daily Homework Help sessions; 

  • We also held a full day Summer program; 

  • We reached out and provided family enrichment activities; 

  • Our 21st CCLC Staff completed 10+ hours of professional development; 

  • We maintained our program specific 21st CCLC website;

  • We worked with our 21st CCLC Leadership Team and met twice monthly to develop high quality services; 

  • Last but not least, we recruited and met with our 21st Advisory Board including parents, community partners, 21st CCLC, and District staff members twice during the year; and 

  • We continue to diligently provide relevant to school day, rigorous in support of Florida State Standards, and fun learning activities for students and their families.
